Giganotosaurus
The dinosaur genus Giganotosaurus lived during the Late Cretaceous period in Argentina. In 1993, the holotype of this dinosaur was discovered in the Candeleros Formation of Patagonia. Since its discovery, scientists have found over 70 percent of this dinosaur's body. While the rest of the dinosaurs are known only from fossils, there are now many theories on how these dinosaurs lived.
